HCM Research

Because the disease often goes undetected with no symptoms, this makes it extremely difficult to pinpoint hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) before it becomes fatal. The John Lee Foundation is committed to raising funds that will go towards research efforts.  We plan to partner with expert cardiologists focused not only on finding a cure but improving the accuracy of heart screenings for better detection of HCM. The funds will be used to help researchers better understand HCM. This will lead to more in-depth analysis, resulting in more accurate screenings for student-athletes to detect the disease. Ultimately, we’re hoping to find a cure for HCM through advanced research.

Join us by supporting our efforts to make sure no more families lose a child to HCM.
